During the TELSIKS 2025 Conference, held from October 22 to 24 at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš, Junior Research Assistant Sofija Perić presented the paper titled “Performance Comparison of Dlfloat16 and Bfloat16 Binary Formats.”

The paper was prepared in collaboration with the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and the IHP – Leibniz Institute for High Performance Microelectronics.

The research focuses on analyzing and comparing the performance of Dlfloat16and Bfloat16 binary formats, which are becoming increasingly important for AI and edge computing applications.

It was a truly valuable experience to attend the conference, hear diverse research contributions, and engage in discussions on topics related to artificial intelligence,quantization, and efficient neural network implementations.
